Dave is THE BEST! His experience and his ability to guide you through this insane process is priceless! When you hire Dave, you can know that he will available to both your student and you by text or phone whenever you need him. I cannot imagine going through this process without him.

I have been meaning to write to you to thank you so much for all of your work with Will and us.  I know from Will you were incredibly helpful and I am sure a big piece of how he got into Michigan and actually many of the other schools he got into that he got into in which he also submitted his pre-screens. It was a hard two weeks for Will choosing between Michigan and Brown - but Will is not a straightforward guys and has many interests including writing and directing and he decided Brown would give him more freedom.  I am hoping you will stay involved in his life.  and We will for sure refer others to you as I think you just know an incredible amount and took Will to a higher level of performing.

When I'm teaching I often have to "legitify" (new word) something I say by saying, "I heard this from Dave Clemmons. I didn't just come up with this on my own."

-TEACHER |  Jody Haas, Voice Teacher

Without you, I don't know what we would have done and thanks to you, she's going to Ball State and she can't wait!

I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be attending NYU Tisch School of the Arts to get my BFA in Musical Theatre from the New Studio on Broadway as a member of the class of 2019! I couldn't be more excited. (Shoutout to Dave Clem Clemmons for being the best audition coach in the universe!)

As this journey has finally come to an end, I just wanted to say thank you for all you have done for Louisa-the guidance, the encouragement, the song and outfit changes and mostly for taking her as one of your students and leading her in the right direction. She could not have done it without your help.  When this process started we all knew how hard and competitive it would be, especially with Louisa being a dancer first, actor second and singer third. But I have to say she hasn't shed one tear during this process and is thrilled with the outcome.  Jim and I are also proud of her accomplishments throughout this process.  I would say 2 acceptances (TCU and Ohio Northern) one wait list (NYU) and 2 dance program acceptances (Otterbein and Rider) is not too bad!  Louisa and I just returned from TCU and she feel in love with it.  She meet with the faculty, had lunch with all the freshman theater kids, attended a class and then we both had the privilege of attending the first run through of Guys and Dolls. Every actor was amazing-the singing, the dancing and the acting was equally impressive.  And to top it off TCU is such a great school academically with great sports and so many social opportunities! She is going to email TCU on Monday morning and accept the offer.  So TCU here we come!  Go Horn Frogs.  Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!

IT'S OFFICIAL GUYS!! I'm so excited to say that next year I'll be attending Coastal Carolina University to get my BFA in musical theatre! Thank you to my awesome parents Jamye Coffman and Danny Coffman for all of your love and support through this crazy process and Dave Clem Clemmons for being the best audition coach and mentor out there! I can't wait to start this new adventure.

- STUDENT |  H. Coffman CCU Clas of '19

I just wanted to shoot you a quick thank you. Barry and I are SO grateful to have someone like you to guide and mentor Rachel. She is the baby of 4 at our house-we have gone through the college process 3 other times and nothing about it resembled PA college applications. As  with  every other 17 year old, if it comes out of parental mouths it may nor may not be heard. On the other hand, when YOU say something, it is heard as complete truth. Your passion for your students is so evident and we count it a true blessing to have Rachel be one of your kids. Thanks for all you do! Glad to be on team Clemmons.

You cannot find a better college audition coach then my friend, Dave Clem Clemmons!

-TEACHER |  Camiah Eastwood Mingorance- Head of Voice The Performers Warehouse

Getting accepted into a college for Musical Theatre is becoming more competitive each year. Dave 'Clem' Clemmons will take your hand and walk you through the process from suggestions for schools, applications and essays to auditions and acceptance. AND he will keep you on track so moms don't have to yell! (Not that I ever did 😀) We are grateful for Dave's help last year and believe he guided us well - especially when it became a very difficult college choice.

- PARENT | R. Samuels

Dave Clemmons is a rad guy who has this rad program called D.C.C.A.P. - Dave Clemmons College Advisory Program! He coaches students (mostly juniors and seniors) who are interested in auditioning for theater programs at a collegiate level. He takes them through the college process by finding proper audition material, holding private coaching sessions, and calming your crazy nerves. If this sounds exciting to you, (which it must) check out his D.C.C.A.P Facebook page for more info. This guy will change your life. I'm sorry this sounds like a Shamwow Infomercial. I promise it's so much better than an absorbent cloth.

If you need college audition coaching/guidance/sanity, look no further. Dave Clemmons is the man. He was so incredibly helpful for me, and this year went by so smoothly with his help.
